The 'Storage Chest' is the area next to the Battle Inventory for Equipment.
Throughout your Vindictus gameplay, the itme type you will obtain the most will probably be a 'Regular Item.'
These 'Regular items' can be obtained in various battles.
Among 'Regular items' are 'Material items' that can be used to craft valuable things, or simple items of no value dropped by monsters.
The following items are the major Material Items that are used to craft special items.
If you obtain the items below, try selling them on the Marketplace, or creating another item with them, instead of just selling them to the NPC shop!

Various ores for weapon crafting(NPC Ferghus), or Spider Webs and string, cloth items for Cloth Armor crafting(NPC Clodagh) are also items worth saving.
