Explorers have recently discovered Niflheim, a heretofore hidden region. Those who returned from the fateful expedition arrived with their minds broken. Some horror had driven them to madness, and only two words escaped their lips: Succubus Queen.
Venture to this new location and fight the witch who rules it to advance your mercenary to Lv. 85!
Welcome to Niflheim
Hidden behind dagger-like peaks in the southeast part of the map, the land of Niflheim is as foreboding as it is mysterious. The journey is perilous and ship captains are only willing to depart from Colhen and Rocheste. This is a challenge that only the bravest and most skilled mercenaries can hope to survive.
Though the risks are high, the rewards are great. Prepare for battles in Niflheim!
Succubus Queen Raid- The Ultimate Challenge
The Succubus Queen rules Niflheim with an iron fist and uses her witchcraft to control the minds of mortal men and women. You'll need a strong will and a sharp blade to banish her to the hell she crawled out of.
The Succubus Queen is a brand new level 80 raid. A challenging battle that is broken down into 2 phases. When you first enter the Queen's castle, you will notice she looks remarkably similar to the original Succubus. This is a trick. The Queen deals in dreams and illusions and nothing you see or hear can be trusted.
In the second phase, the Queen will lure you into the Sky Room, which is powered by her evil runes and spells. If she hits you with one of her magical attacks, you will be transported to the Room of Nightmare, where you will have to stop the Queen from controlling your mind in a reflex-based mini-game. If that wasn't enough, graces, revival feathers and Evie's Revive skill will not work in Hard mode
If you can resist the seductive call of the Succubus Queen, you will not only be handsomely rewarded, you will enter the ranks of Vindictus' finest and most honorable warriors. A great accomplishment indeed.
Level Cap Increase and New Bracelet Equipment
With this update, we're upping the level cap to 85 which means stronger stats! Increased stats also comes with new equipment to wear. New to Vindictus is the bracelet system. Here’s the basic rundown.
Bracelets come in 3 varieties and each have level requirements: Leather (Lv. 80), Copper (Lv. 83), and Silver (Lv. 85). Quality of the bracelets matter as well. Leather bracelets could only hold 1 gem, Copper can hold 2, and Silver can hold 3. The type of gem that can be inserted is random, but you will never see duplicate gem restrictions for Copper and Silver bracelets (example: 2 diamond gem slots, 3 diamond gem slots, etc).

| Bracelets can be obtained from Masterpiece Bracelet Boxes dropped from Season 1 Hero Mode Battles and Hero Mode Raids Lv. 60 and up, and Season 2 Normal Battle and Raids from Lv. 70 – 80. | ||
Another important aspect of bracelets are gems. To obtain gems, you must defeat the Succubus Queen to receive Bracelet Gem Key Fragments. Turn these key fragments in to the General Store in Colhen to receive a Succubus Queen Gem Box. Open a box and have a chance to receive 1 of the 4 different gem flavors. Each gem type boost a different stat.

Once you have both a bracelet and gems, head to the Colhen General Shop to craft your bracelet. It will cost a gold fee and will bound the bracelet to you. Know that you can always re-fit a new gem of the same type on your bracelet to get a chance for better stats, so never settle. Collect more gems and get stronger!
Leveling up to 85 is essential if you want to face the Succubus Queen, Vindictus' most hardcore boss. Equip some bracelets to tip the scale in your favor!
Succubus Queen Events
The Succubus Queen is a truly difficult challenge, and any mercenary wishing to face her should be prepared. This month, receive an additional two runs on all Raids—you'll have more opportunities to learn the Queen's weaknesses and send her back to the abyss. In addition, receive a special Succubus Queen Supply Box when you defeat her.
Cash Shop Update
Vindictus' tailors are producing all sorts of dark leather outfits these days; clothes that look suspiciously like the Succubus Queen's garb. Could they be under her spell? Whatever the reason, new Succubus costumes are coming to the Cash Shop this month:
- The Succubus Equipment Package: Contains a 5-piece armor set. This new package gives you the outfit dyed in black.
- The Succubus Wing Jacket: A top-piece that features demonic wings. Parts of the outfit is now dyed in black.
- The Dark Rev Avatar: Fashioned after the evil priests who serve the Queen.
Other Noteworthy Changes
- Enhance Runes are now back in the AP Shop
- AP Shop purchased Clodagh's Dyes are now untradable when filled
- Keaghan and Iset outfit can now be dyed
