Arisha is here!

It's an exciting time in the world of Vindictus, with a new character, new events and a big update to the Cash Shop that brings a host of new items, and some old favorites as well. Check out the rundown below.

The Sorceress of Blades

If you've seen a tall, striking new mercenary running around slicing and dicing Fomors, then you've just met Arisha. Arisha is the ninth playable character to join the ranks of Vindictus, and is known across the land as the Sorceress of Blades. A magical warrior with a mysterious past, Arisha can cleave through enemies with her mighty Spellsword, and channel magical energy into focused bolts with her Focus.

Arsenal of the Silver Witch

Arisha has unique techniques to vanquish her foes. Many may see Arisha as just another magic user like Evie, but her move lists and defensive maneuvers are on par with a twin sword Vella. Arisha can summon a Mana Crystal to attack her foes, and it can be summoned back to her with a strong attack. A summoned Mana Crystal could also be detonated with Crystal Burst to cause area damage, or be used to create a pool of ether in an area to cause damage over time with the Ether Zone skill.

With Mana Drain, Arisha is able to absorb most attacks and take no damage. This also allows her to absorb Mana, which is an energy bar unique to Arisha. With Mana stored, she can use abilities like Mana Blade and Counter Drain to enchant her blade with magical energy. With her blade enchanted, it opens up to other devastating skills like Arcane Flurry and Diffusion Warp, which allows her to teleport to summoned Mana Crystals. Here are some of her skills in detail.

Resonance

Use legendary spells to cast a massive area-of-effect attack that obliterates all nearby enemies. Timing is critical when using this skill as it takes time for Arisha to summon a huge amount of energy of this magnitude.

Arcane Flurry

Activate after using Mana Blade. Arisha will enter an aggressive fighting stance before performing 6 quick, consecutive strikes. If a mana crystal is summoned somewhere in the map while Mana Blade is active, Arisha can immediately teleport in the position of that mana crystal to avoid attacks or set up an offensive position for a barrage of attacks.

Temporal Shift

Stop time and freeze enemies in place before dealing devastating area-of-effect damage. Useful to stop attacks from bosses.

Ruin Blade

Enchant your blade with arcane magic to unleash a single, wide slash at the enemy. Can be enhanced further for an extra attack for more damage. The attack animation is very long, so make sure to use this attack on a downed enemy.

Arisha arriving also means some special in-game events made just for her. Receive useful level-up gift boxes. Receive an exclusive title if you reach the level cap!

There's something cool happening every week this December. From events to help you level up your Arisha, to a special Advent Calendar that counts down the days to Christmas. There may also be some hidden holiday gifts in dungeons. There's always fun to be had in Vindictus!

Other Noteworthy Changes

- Great Adventurer and Demon Hunter Set is now tradeable across the same account ID
- Players will receive gold for completing early level quest storylines
- Weapon Surprise Supplies has been updated so Intelligence based weapons will have a Divine Punishment enchant
- New storyline added so players can receive a level 70 Old Leather Bracelet and some Flawed Gems (Player must be level 70 to receive the quest from Aislinn)
