Meet Punxsutawney Gnoll, Vindictus' one and only Gnoll Hog. Cousin to the more famous Punxsutawney Phil, this little bugger handles all groundhog operations in the world of Vindictus. He's currently monitoring Phil, to make sure he's in prime condition for his big day, Monday, Feb. 2.
Depending on whether or not Phil sees his shadow, we'll either get six more weeks of winter or an early spring, but we'll also get sweet bonuses in Vindictus!
If Phil sees his shadow, we'll have to bear the winter chill for a bit longer. To ease your pain, receive rewards in the Ignacht Fishing Event for three weekends in a row. Go fish and you'll likely pull up a Sunken Ignacht Treasure Box than ordinary fish during this period. Sunken Ignacht Treasure Box includes some pretty nice rewards including AP capsules, Unlimited Hair (30 Days), Unlimited Inner (30 days), and other items! In addition, take advantage of a 50% reduction in Repair fees for the same three weekends.
If Phil doesn't see his shadow, spring is right around the corner. To celebrate, receive 3x AP from 4-9 PM PST on the following three weekends, plus +1 to Expertise when crafting items in your profession!
