Friendship System

  • The [Mercenary Lounge] has been added to the Mercenary Outpost in Colhen.
    • You can find allies of the Mercenary Unit resting inside the Mercenary Lounge.
    • Between 5 and 6 allies will visit the lounge each day.
    • If you don't find the ally you're looking for in the lounge, you can summon them by speaking with [Captain Crimson].

  • A [Closeness] meter has been added.
    • A "Closeness" meter has been added that indicates your current relationship with each ally.
    • Note that you won't become best friends in a single day. If you bother your ally to much, they may need time to cool off. It's best to build up your friendships a little bit each day.
    • Also, keep in mind that if you go a long time without seeing your ally, your relationship may begin to sour.
    • You can increase Closeness by using [Talk], [Depart for Mission], and [Gift].
    • You can check the Closeness status of each ally using the [Closeness Status] button in the Character Window / All Menu and the [Manage Relationship] window in the lounge.

  • Talking to the allies in the lounge.
    • You can approach an ally of your choice and strike up a conversation.
    • Interact with allies using the [Talk] function and talk to them about [Conversation Topics]. You can infer how close they feel to you by their responses.
    • As you talk to various allies, you can collect special [Conversation Topics]. You can find the [Conversation Topics] you've collected in the All Menu and the [Manage Topics] tab of the [Manage Relationship] window in the lounge. Different allies offer will react differently to the same conversation topics.
    • Use the [Gift] function to give gifts to your allies and raise their Closeness. You can purchase these gifts from the Gift Shop.
    • Increasing your Closeness with allies unlocks unique stories and conversations.

  • You can now embark on Missions from the Mercenary Lounge
    • Battle alongside your allies in a new Mission system!
    • Allies automatically fight by your side without instruction, but you can issue certain commands using shortcut keys.
    • You can take on missions from the Mission Board in the lounge with the ally of your choice.
    • There are four types of missions: Border Patrol, Recon Run, Supply Circuit, and Support Mission.
    • Participating in missions grants rewards such as Closeness, EXP, and [Friendship Seals].
    • Victory and failure conditions vary by mission category.
    • Succeeding in missions grants greater rewards
    • If your ally's health is depleted, they will be exhausted for a time and will not respond to commands.
    • Allies will also become exhausted after performing certain powerful attacks.
    • The more time you spend with an ally, the stronger that ally becomes.
    • Damage you take from enemies and damage you deal to enemies in the mission is automatically scaled based on level.

  • [Friendship Achievements] have been added.
    • As you build friendships with allies, you can complete friendship achievements.
    • Complete various achievements with each ally and obtain various rewards.
