Today we're introducing the 27th hero of Vindictus, Calia.
About Calia
Calia is a female character who wields the Half Claymore.
The Half Claymore is a heavy, long sword with a sharp blade, capable of both offense and defense.
After defending against an enemy attack, immediately launching a follow-up attack allows you to gain the upper hand in battle.
Successfully landing consecutive attack skills allows you to deliver special strikes that deal greater damage than before.
Calia is an appealing character with enthralling gameplay that allows her to dictate the flow of battle with her chained attacks.
Chaining Attacks from Defense
Calia can use Edge Deflection to deflect enemy attacks, and if successful, can then chain into her next attack.
On a failed Edge Deflection, you will be unable to chain the attack.
Successfully performing Edge Deflection grants the Dawn Halo status effect.

Dawn Halo Status
While under the Dawn Halo status, Calia partially recovers SP and STA, and her instant action SPD increases.

Enhancing Active Skills
Upon successfully landing a chain skill's final smash, you can use the enhancement skill, The Aella.
The Aella enhances certain active skills, allowing them to deal higher damage than before.

Active Skills Strengthened by Chain Attacks
Calia's Active: Heel Arch and Active: Magneta Arch are powerful attack skills that boost her damage with their unique spinning motions.
Additional controls allow you to chain attacks from them. Even while chaining, you can defend yourself using Edge Deflection, and then immediately unleash another attack.

Crushing Attack Skills
Active: Breaching Edge is an attack skill that pierces forward with great force.
If the attack is successful, you can break the enemy's stance and chain into additional attacks.
