■ Enchantment Success & Failure
Enchanting has a chance-based outcome, resulting in success or failure.
If you succeed, the enchanted item now gains the Enchant Scroll options, making it even more powerful.
But if you fail, a penalty will be applied.
- For Enchantments Rank 7 and below, failure may result in a reduction of the item's durability.
- For Rank 6 and higher, failure may result in the item being destroyed entirely.
Weapons and armor that are destroyed due to enchant fails can be restored through the Strange Traveler.
However, if an item that has been reforged or restored is destroyed due to a failed enchantment, it cannot be restored again. Make sure to check the item tooltip before making any enchantments.
- An item that has been restored or reforged will be completely destroyed if enchant fails.
■ Item Restoration System
In Vindictus, there is a system that allows you to restore a destroyed item once.
You can restore the destroyed item by talking to the Travelers in each town and opening the [Other] menu.
- This feature can be used from Lv. 90.
You can view 10 recently destroyed items by talking to the Traveler and opening the [Other] menu, and can restore a selected item by spending AP owned by your character.
The amount of AP required varies depending on the destroyed item's 'Level' and 'Enhancement Level'.
Also, after you restore the item, it cannot be enhanced or traded.
- Lv. 90+ rare items enhanced to +10 through +14 can be enhanced again after reforging.
The AP required for item restoration is as follows:
