1. Space Time Distortion: Usurper's Fortress

[Unique Group Effect]

- Some enchant effects are categorized into unique groups and only one effect applies if you have multiple enchants within the same group for Unique Group Enchants.

: "Chance to recover 125 SP" effect of "Calm" and "Consistent" enchants, are categorized as "Unique Group Effect: Resource Restoration."

: "Boosts ATT SPD upon activation" effect of "Dash", "Wind Striking", "Wind Fury", and "Fury" enchants, are categorized as "Unique Group Effect: ATT SPD Boost."

: Equipping multiple enchants with the same Unique Group Effects will prioritize application of the effect applied on the "Rhod Compass."

 (Ex.) Applying "Concerted" enchant on the "Rhod Compass" while "Calm" enchant is applied on the weapon, will only apply the Unique Group Effect of the "Concerted" enchant. (High chance to recover 125 SP)

However, stat effects aside from the "Unique Group Effects" are applied as a sum. (ATT/M. ATT -280, ATT SPD +4, BAL +5)

 

[Enchant Extract Scroll (Calm and Dash Exclusive) Limited Sale]

- Enchant Extract Scroll (Calm and Dash Exclusive) are available for purchase at the "Strange Traveler's Shop."

:Can be purchased from 07/19/2022 (Tue.) after maintenance - 10/18/2022 (Tue.) before maintenance, and the item may be used until 10/25/2022 (Tue.) UTC 7AM.

* You can purchase up to 10.

- Use the "Enchant Extract Scroll (Calm and Dash Exclusive)" to extract "Calm" or "Dash" Enchant Scrolls from desired equipment items.

: Extraction does not destroy the target equipment item, and extracts all "Calm" or "Dash" enchant scrolls applied to the item.

: Enchant scrolls acquired through extraction is bound to the character.

: Enchant Extraction costs 100,000 gold.

*Enchant Scrolls acquired through extraction are enchants with 100% probability to enchant and once enchanted, the enchanted item becomes completely bound.

2. Emblem Update

■ Improvements on Emblem system

- Use of emblem items are improved with the following.

Developer's Notes: 

Collecting an "Emblem" registered it onto the emblem list immediately upon acquisition, unlike titles, pets, and objects that require list registration to use the items.

So, it skipped the right-clicking process from the Storage Chest, which was convenient. However, it was impossible to use an informational window to check or review 'collected emblems'. This was an issue as it led to players obtaining multiple, identical emblems.

This update changes the structure of emblem items and put them on the same format as the existing "Title" items to address this issue, so that players can check which emblems are already in their possession.

 

■ Emblem System Revamped

- Improves the "Emblem" button on the "Character" window. 

: Location of the "Emblem" button in the Character window has moved from the bottom of the window to the left side of "Character Name."

: You can now check the image and info of the emblem currently equipped by your character, through the improved "Emblem" button.

: You are also now able to see the image and info of the emblem equipped by another character on their "View Information" window.

 

The general size of the emblem's image displayed when the emblem is equipped, has been enlarged.

Developer's Notes: 

There was a disappointing issue where previously, emblem displays were very small and there was difficulty seeing the images as the camera pulled back farther away from the character. Therefore, the emblem images have been enlarged within the permitted range of the name display area to address this issue.

 

- New "Special Emblem" type added.

: "Special Emblems" are different from the existing emblems in that they consist of a special layout.

: The 4 types of "Special Emblems" are demonstrated through the Emblem Revamp as listed below.

- The "Emblem" window and its functions have been revamped. 

: [Emblem] tab and [Special Emblem] tab is added to the Emblem window. 

> Navigate through each tab to review "Emblem" and "Special Emblem" information or equip and unequip the emblems.

: [Emblem Info] added.

> You can find detailed information in Emblem Info, such as Emblem Name, Description, Image Preview, and the location where you obtained the emblem.

: [Emblem Favorites] function added.

> Use the "Add to Favorites" button to add the emblems you collected on to the "Favorites List", to easily equip or unequip them.

   Also, you can drag-n-drop to freely organize your Favorites List with your mouse.

: You can now "select placement" when equipping normal-sized emblems.

> If the emblem is normal-sized, you can select which side of the title to equip it on.

   However, if the emblem size is larger than the normal size, you can only equip them in fixed locations.

- Emblem [Collection] system added.

: Obtain emblems from various content and collect "Collectible Stamps", to receive Collection Rewards through the Emblem Collection system. 

 Challenge yourself to collect emblems and acquire titles for your collection.

- The "Hide other Emblems in battle" option has been added in [Option] - [UI Settings].

: Enabling the option disables the display of emblems equipped by other players in battle.

: But the emblems equipped by other players will be still visible in town, even with the option enabled.

* We added the option above to prevent large emblems like Special Emblems from impairing vision.

- Item descriptions of existing emblems now display "Right-click Usage Possible".

- Emblem items can be destroyed and sold in Shops.

Redeemers
The potion available for use in "Redeemers" has been changed from "Redeemers HP Potion" to "Exquisite HP Potion.
: You can only use the "Exquisite HP Potion" in "Redeemers" battle now, and you may use up to 20 potions in each battle.
: "Redeemers HP Potion" cannot be traded. It can be sold to Shops for 1,000 gold per potion.
: When proceeding
Hero's Sword story, Exquisite HP Potion shall be provided instead of Redeemers HP Potion

: Redeemers HP Potion shall be no longer available on the summoned Rabi Shop.

- "Travel Marketplace" is now available in the departure standby areas for "Redeemers"

* "Travel Marketplace" is a marketplace with simplified functions, where you can purchase specific items.
: You may now purchase "Exquisite HP Potion" and "Fine Armor Temporary Repair Kit" in departure standby areas through the "Travel Marketplace".

- Crafting Orb and Paradise Orb shall be possible through Brynn, Enzo, and Jarlath.

: To craft 1 Paradise Orb > 100 Gold and Orb x3 needed.

: To craft 1 Orb > 100Gold and Paradise Orb x3 needed.

Developers Note:

Added the recipes for Orb and Paradise Orb to make it more efficient to transform from one another.

 

■ Characters

- Fixed issue where Karok's visual and sound effects would not display correctly when he would Clash with Ulchas in the battle Desolate Molina.

- Fixed issue where Karok would use Active: Hurricane with Cestus while 1 use of Blast: Destroyer's effect was remaining, and it would only apply Critical to the first attack.

- Skill descriptions for Karok's Blast Charge and Cataclysm have been improved.

- Skill description of Eira's Mana Munitions has been revised.

- Fixed issue where Vella would use Active: Glacier Terminus while wielding Twin Chainblades, and the chains would occasionally fail to display.

- Fixed issue where Evie would use Active: Healing Corona but the skill would not cast, and only the cooldown would get applied.

- Fixed instances where Evie's Active: Healing Corona's cooldown wouldn't apply in certain situations.

- Fixed issue where Letty's Thrill gauge would not display properly after a cut scene in battle.

- Fixed issue where Letty's Kradie Blast and Kradie Burst would get blocked by objects and explode.

- Improved camera perspective if Clash is used by Karok in the battle Rescue, so that the animation has better visibility.

- Monsters not being able to move in certain situations when using Evies Mana Pistol shall be fixed.

 

 

■ Character Growth Goals

- Avatar Accessories and related reward items have been added to specific level achievement Growth Mission rewards.

: Adding and adjusting the existing Growth Mission rewards so that players can experience "Hair, "Inner Armor", "Beard", "Makeup", and other outfits while leveling new characters.'

"Growth Range Outfit Distribution" update has been made available earlier than we expected. We hope that this update will provide many opportunities for you to find your character enjoyable in the Growth Range.

 

■ Long Time No See Perks

- The outfit set provided in "Long Time No See Gift" has been changed to "Special Outfit Destiny Box (15 Days)."

: The outfit reward for Long Time No See Perks has been adjusted as the outfit reward has been added to character Growth Goals.

 - Fixed these issues for Lynn using a Glaive in the Personal Training Site.

: Fixed issue where Artifact effects would occasionally disappear.

: Fixed issue where Jade Fox skill menu would not disappear after the statistics of the run had been recorded.

 - Fixed issue where the character would turn invisible if the robe is toggled on while getting targeted by specific attacks of the boss.

- Fixed issue where players were able to move outside of the Story region during the Story: Meeting Again.

- Fixed issue where revivals after getting incapacitated would push the character in a random direction.

- Fixed issue where if a player in party would attempt departure after switching equipped items to other items that fail to meet the required stats, would make that player leave the party.

- Fixed issue in battle: Spearhead of Paradise Lost, where Karok's Clash constantly stayed available for use during combat with Ragnahim.

- Fixed issue were forfeiting the battle: Brilliant Lugh in specific moments with perspective shifts such as the different phases of the boss, would result in the altered perspective sustaining in town.

- Fixed these issues occurred in battle: Distorted Truth.

: Fixed issue where the character's body would levitate when incapacitated.

: Fixed issue where getting trapped in the water bubbles of Rupacitus would display awkward animations.

 : Fixed issue where specific instances would prevent Royal Army battle departure waitlist from filling the 12-player head count.

: We apologize for the Royal Army recruitment problem recurring consistently.

We understand that this issue has created big inconveniences. The dev team is constantly tracing the cause and fixing the codes, but we are also having a difficulty in identifying a clear cause of the issue.

We hope that this update will resolve this issue but if you experience the identical issue again, please let us know through the Customer Service.

 - For operation stability, a cooldown is applied when entering /escape in battle: Reverent Tower.

- Fixed issue where characters would not take damage in specific instances.

- When players create or join Redeemers party, the stat restrictions are applied based on pure stats excluding status and Partholon effects.

-"Traces of Battle" departure count is restricted to 5 times a day.

: This departure count restriction will reset every day at UTC 7AM.

 

■ Items

- Removed requirements to use Enchants on weapon or armor essences. 

: The usability of Enchants on the target item is changed, to only be restricted by the Enchant Scroll.

- The requirements to use the Enchant Scroll below are changed.

: This also applies to enchant scrolls with 100% success rate.

: The changes apply upon attempting enchant, and they do not apply to items that are already enchanted.

Developer's Notes: Outfits with level restrictions from the changes above

(Ex: We want to prevent the situation where the contents of "Mercenary's Signature Outfit Set (Lv. 100 or below)", which is supplied via the Character Growth Goals, are mistakenly cloned to a character that cannot equip them.

We will continue to do our best to make game play more convenient. Thank you.

 - Under the condition additional enchant slot opened, not being able to use the replacing function when attempting to the un-enchanted equipment with a pop-up message shall be fixed.

 

■ Marketplace

- The keywords registered in the [Interest Keyword] tab can now be sorted by dragging the cursor.

- Fixed an issue were adding an accessory to the [Interest Keyword] tab, and selecting the enhancement range would make the target accessory not appear in searches.

- Players can now click the keyword search result to move to the [Trade Items] tab and click the [Previous List] to return to the [Interest Keyword] tab.

- The search result for Interest Keyword shall be identical to the registration order.

- Sorting option for the search result for Interest Keyword can be undone.

: By clicking item or Lowest Price under the descending order the sorting shall be undone. 

  

■ Exchange Shop

- In order to make the quantity change function of Exchange Shop more convenient, the functions of each button have changed to the following.

: The function were holding the [+] or [-] buttons would automatically increase or decrease the numbers has now been removed.

: Pressing the [-] button on the minimum quantity can now change it to the maximum quantity.

: Players can now input their desired quantity.

 

■ Friendship System

- Fixed issue where the height of the merc accompanying the player to the Friendship Mission would display abnormally at times.

- Fixed the issue where the appearance of the Mercenary Lounge's merc, Letty, would slightly differ from the character.

 

■ Guild House

- Fixed issue were having the "Guild Farm Status" window of "Guild Farm" open, would sometimes hinder the updates of the Growth Gauge.

- Fixed issue where "Letty" wouldn't dance in the Underground Club Ladeca, even with the "Untz! Untz! Untz! Untz!" status effect applied.

 

■ Wardrobe

- Fixed issue where selecting an Appearance Preset in "Manage Wardrobe Area" as Dan-Ah, would display her blade over the sheath.

- Fixed issue where only up to 20 characters would display if there were more than 20 characters with each Object Point, upon checking "Total Outfit/Back/Tail/Object Point" Details ([>] button) in the [Wardrobe Skill] area.

 

■ UI

- Fixed the following issues found in the [Favorites List] in the title menu.

: Fixed an issue where the title registered in Favorites would display abnormally at times.

: Titles added to Favorites will now display in the order in which they are registered.

 - Fixed issue were clicking the right end of the Confidant (Shortcut Key "O") menu's Character Name window would disable the cursor.

- Improved visibility of the tab selected from the Confidant (Shortcut Key "O").

 - Improved the "Hide/Show weapon and secondary weapon in town" function.

: Hide/Show function can now be individually selected for the weapon and the secondary weapon.

: [Hide/Show Secondary Weapon] option is only displayed for characters that use secondary weapons (Fiona, Arisha, etc.)

 - The function above is only applied in town.

:  Certain animations may look unnatural when Hide/Show feature is used, so we recommend you use it selectively when you want to prevent hiding the character's appearance.

- The eye icon and function are added to hide or show "Avatar Tail Slot" in the Inventory Window as well.

- Fixed issue where the dungeon would not display in the [Favorites] tab, when the player is unable to depart because the dungeon listed in the [Favorites] tab in the [Quick Departure] window has been swapped to another (ex. Special Dungeon.)

- Fixed issue where search results would not display when the player would search in the [Favorites] tab of the [Quick Departure] window.

- Fixed issue where crafts would fail if a player would craft more items through Expertise/NPCs than the empty cells in the Storage Chest.

: It has been improved to craft as many items as there are empty cells in the Storage Chest.

- Fixed issue were using the [Search Guilds] tab in the [Guild] window to search for guilds using the "Guild Name", would not display the guilds that are exact matches to the search keywords.

- Fixed the following issues found in the [Confidant] tab.

: Fixed issue where inputting different upper/lowercase would allow searching for yourself.

: If inputting the block reason(s) yourself in the [Block Settings] tab, you cannot input the "period (.)" anymore. 

- Fixed issue where clicking the item linked on the chat window, would not display the "Shop Purchase Price and Marketplace Trade Price" in the Tooltip.

- Fixed issue were selling and item to the NPC Shop and repurchasing it, would not update the display of the money you have in real-time.

- Fixed issue were using the [View Information] on another character would not display the Wardrobe Points.

- Fixed issue where a specific "Departure License" with set durations would display as permanent in the [Battle Completion Scroll] window.

Issue ‘Hide/Show auxiliary equipment in town’ option being reset when changing Battle Inventory’s equip tab shall be fixed.

 

■ Graphics

- Fixed issue where the waist area's graphics appeared broken, when wearing "Special All Curves / All Curves+ Sunrise Secret Shirt" with specific bottoms.

- Fixed issue where the waist area's graphics appeared broken, when wearing "Special All Curves Sunrise Secret Shirt" and "Aerial Grace Skirt."

- "Special All Curves Night of Gold" outfit is improved to apply the new application of expressing upper body physics.

 

■ Guild

- Fixed issue where Guild Information would sometimes fail to deliver.

: You may use each menu within Guild chat and UI normally as intended.

 

■ Wallet

- Wallet system features are now categorized into different required levels as below.

: The wallet is activated from [Lv. Max -10].

> However, you can only withdraw and use the collect feature of the Collection Box during this time.

: You can use all of the Wallet's functions from [Lv. Max -5]

 

■ Mail

- Fixed issue where mails with long contents would display the sender's character name and contents layered over one another.

- Mails with no content in the body are now revised to display (No content in the body.)

- Fixed issue where Guild Mails and some other mails with "," included in the body would prevent the mail from displaying correctly.

 

■ Titles

- ID Titles acquired by a different character within the account but not obtained by the current character, will display "[ID]" when searched.

 

■ 64bit Client

- "64bit Client (Beta)" version has now ended, and it will transition into the official version.

- The text displayed on the title bar when running the 64bit client on window mode, is revised to "Vindictus 64bit."

Developer's Notes: 

Most problems that occurred only within the 64bit Client have been resolved, and the frequency of abnormal termination of the client has been drastically reduced in comparison to 32bit.

So, 64bit will now transition into an official client, and continuous client optimization is planned.

Since 32bit client is unable to resolve the memory limit due to the operating system policy, the 64bit client is recommended.

■ Play Guide

- Reward icons displayed on "Growth Goals" and "Character Growth Rewards" windows, will now display up to 10 icons.

 

■ Misc.

- Informational messages are now displayed when attempting to unlock an Enchant/Power Infusion Slot with an invalid item.

<Power Infusion>

: (Before Revision) That action cannot be performed with this item. → (After Revision) Power Infusion slots can't be added to this item.

- Fixed issue were returning to town by talking to an NPC would not work sometimes while progressing through a story.

- Fixed issue where appearances of some outfits would not display as intended.

- Fixed issue where the displayed names of "Miri", "Lethor", and "Dan-Ah", would cover the characters during their sitting motions. 

- Fixed issue where holding certain objects would not display as intended, as they would misalign with the hands.

 - Improved the loading time it takes to start the game as a character with a vast number of titles and expertises.

- Fixed a portion of the frame drops that would occur, when Tooltip and description windows were opened within the UI.

: Certain UIs were found to be overloading, and the fixes are currently in the works.

 The sources of this issue has been precisely analyzed, but it is structurally complicated and tangled with other issues. So, it will require more time to address it.

 We will try our best to address this issue as soon as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience.

- "Gloss Level" displayed on the Character Creation and Avatar Shop > [Skin] tab, is now changed to "Face Texture" for better accuracy of information.

- Fixed issue where the Effects Transparency (Character/Players) option would not apply on Primal Flame/Red Flame Phantom Dagger of Sylas.
