Hello. This is DEV Allanon.
First, I would like to thank you for the tremendous interest and feedback you have shown for the contents from "2025 Winter Live in Rocheste" broadcast. Despite the short period, we have reviewed all the diverse opinions shared through our website and community channels.
During the KR Test Server operation, we recognized that some systems caused concern among our players, contrary to the development team's intentions. Based on your feedback, we would like to inform you of the adjustments that will be made when these updates are applied to the official Live Server.
1. Tuning Great Success
"Tuning Great Success" was originally designed to provide a bit of joy during the repetitive growth process and to lessen the weariness of grinding. We expected it to serve as a ladder of growth for latecomers and a pleasant stroke of luck for existing players when crafting new gear.
However, we confirmed your feedback that a structure where core stats are determined by luck could undermine the value and effort of players who have diligently built up their specs until now. We agree that preserving existing value of effort is as important as the fun of the growth process itself.
Therefore, we have decided to exclude "Destruction I and Destruction II" stats from the Great Success system. To compensate for the reduced growth feeling caused by the exclusion of Destruction stats, we will increase the supply of materials within the content itself, rather than relying on probability-based mechanics.
2. Citadel of Shadows
For the "Citadel of Shadows," we wanted to offer the new fun of DPS competition. In this process, we designed exclusive equipment to provide the thrill of a "jackpot," even at a low probability.
However, there was overwhelming feedback that this devalues existing top-tier Eriu equipment. While our intention was to provide the fun of new competition, we failed to consider the sense of accomplishment of our existing players during the reward design process.
Therefore, we will remove the "Citadel of Shadows Exclusive Equipment" from the official server update. Additionally, to prevent abnormal gameplay patterns where players simply participate to claim rewards without active play, we will downgrade the components of the reward boxes for lower ranks (Rank D and Rank E).
The combat mechanics will also be improved. SP, MP, and Skill Cooldowns will fully reset at the start of every round to increase combat immersion. We will also adjust the down gauge of the boss monster, "Pantheum," to mitigate interruptions in the flow of battle.
3. Other Improvements
Regarding the HUD revamp, we received feedback that the strong colors caused high eye fatigue. We plan to adjust the overall brightness and saturation to ensure a more comfortable viewing experience during long play sessions.
We also confirmed that some rewards provided after completing the Hero's Path were not being applied as intended. This will be fixed for the official server so that rewards can be obtained normally.
In addition, we will focus on stabilization during the remaining time to fix various bugs confirmed on the Test Server and ensure that the "Hero's Leap" content is updated smoothly.
4. Clarification on the 2027 Max Level Expansion
Finally, I would like to clarify the "2027 Max Level Expansion" mentioned during the broadcast.
We noticed that due to insufficient explanation, some players were concerned about a "Hard Reset" where all existing equipment would need to be discarded. However, our this does not mean we are scrapping the Advancement system or resetting everything. We meant to convey that changes are needed in the current item growth method and meta.
We will avoid any direction that drastically devalues the top-tier equipment you have worked hard to obtain. We apologize for causing unnecessary anxiety.
We will carefully analyze the various opinions sent and strive to present a more reasonable and improved update on the official server.
Thank you.
