Hello, this is DEV Allanon.
Today, a recording for an upcoming Dev Talk Video took place, scheduled to be released in February.
Once the editing process is complete, we expect to share it with you around the 12th.
In this upcoming Dev Talk video, I focused on explaining our update roadmap for the first half of the year. But I soon realized that while explaining our plans for the future, contents for the near updates were left out.
So while we wait for the Dev Talk to be finished, I thought this might be a good chance to provide information on contents right around the corner with this Developer’s Note.
New Raid Battle
A new Raid Boss, "Uscias," will be added.
Uscias is a human-formed boss monster who wields powerful magic. He tests players by manipulating "Time," in addition to elemental magic such as Fire, Ice, and Lightning.
Specific details regarding battle patterns of Uscias and its unique features for a more interesting combat will be introduced in a separate Developer's Note with the KR Test Server update.
In this raid battle, you will be able to obtain Superior Weapons, Belts, and Chest Armor.
Additionally, two new Enchant Scrolls will be added to help boost your specs. They are both an upgraded version of the existing "Prophetic" (Chest Armor Prefix) and "Ancient" (Belt Prefix) enchants, and will be obtainable from the new raid boss monster, "Uscias."
Special Dungeon Rotation
With the change in the Special Dungeon rotation, the current dungeons will close, and new battles will open.
The Special Dungeons for this season will be "Clan of Darkness" and "Under the Pale Moon."
Even with the new battles opening, the entry requirements and main rewards from the battle will remain the same as previous Special Dungeons. Outfit Recipes may change after the update.
Artifact Cooldown Adjustment
The Artifact cooldown adjustment promised during the previous Live Broadcast on December will be applied in the next update.
With the introduction of Artifact-exclusive Enchant Scrolls, an adjustment to cooldowns became necessary to balance the game and prevent the efficiency of certain Artifacts from becoming excessive.
The affected items and changes are as follows:
- Target: The Watcher's (Rusty, [Standard], Glowing, Complete) Werewolf Paw
- Change: Cooldown adjusted to 100 seconds.
- Target: The Watcher's (Rusty, [Standard], Glowing, Complete) Succubus Fang
- Change: Cooldown adjusted to 120 seconds.
The updates mentioned above will be available for a preview on the KR Test Server starting Wednesday, January 28th.
We will carefully review the feedback sent regarding these changes.
Winter is reaching its end, but the weather hasn’t thawed out just yet.
I wish everyone good health, and I will greet you again soon in the upcoming Dev Talk video.
Thank you.
