■ Aggro System Improvements

  • The Aggro system has been improves as follows.
    • The weighting for target selection based on close-range proximity, which previously varied by boss, will now be standardized at 30%.
    • Long-range actions are adjusted to generate less aggro than close-range actions, and this criterion is applied on a per-action basis.
    • Adjusted the aggro contribution of combat support actions, such as using potions and armor repairing, to better reflect the actual contribution to the party.
    • Increased the aggro contribution of reviving allies.
    • The aggro calculation of all actions, including attack, defense, and support, will all contribute to aggro. The calculation criteria may change in future updates for further improvement.

Developer's Notes

The aggro system has been revamped in this update.
The aggro accumulated by attacking enemies with skills is determined solely by the raw, base power of the skill used, not by equipment stats, such as equipment details or enhancement levels. For any given skill, the amount of aggro generated is the same regardless of the character's stats: the more aggressively you use powerful skills, the more you'll draw the enemies' attention.

Also, an enemy's targeting isn't determined solely by aggro. There are three main ways enemies select their targets:
First, there is the standard method of selecting targets based on aggro levels. This is the primary focus of this revamp.
Second, there are cases where an enemy's specific attack pattern triggers regardless of aggro. While some patterns prioritize attacking the closest character within a certain range or specifically target ranged characters, others attack a wide area without selecting a specific target.
Third, there are cases where an enemy's attention is forcibly redirected by the effect of a specific skill. Active: Taunt and Active: Shout are prime examples, and in these cases, the character in question becomes the target regardless of their current aggro ranking.

The second and third methods are not targets of this revamp and will remain as unique characteristics of each enemy.
Please keep in mind during combat that, even if you manage your aggro levels well, the target may change unexpectedly during certain patterns.

  • Adjusted the bosses that appear in the Shadow's Castle.
    • Black Hammer's Shadow will now appear instead of Pantheum.

■ Hero's Leap

  • Added Hero's Leap, mission-based content designed to support growth.
    • Hero's Leap is an event-based content designed to support your progression from reaching Lv. 115 through the False Confession battle.
    • You can participate by selecting one character, per account, of Lv. 115 or higher. When new characters are released, the available character slot will increase by one.
    • Characters who have received equipment sharing cannot initiate Hero's Leap, and characters currently undergoing Hero's Leap cannot receive equipment sharing.

  • Hero's Leap missions are categorized into Growth, Deployment, and Town Missions. Completing each mission grants rewards that are bound to the character.
    • Characters who have completed all growth and deployment missions can attempt challenges.
    • If you have already completed the mission requirements (including challenges) at the start, you can receive the rewards immediately.
    • Please refer to the event notice for detailed missions and rewards by category.
