1. New Character Dan-Ah

■ 19th Hero, Dan-Ah

▶ Added Dan-Ah, the 19th hero of Vindictus.

  • The new character, Dan-Ah, walks the warrior's path with her Soulblade.

 ▶ Added weapons exclusively for Dan-Ah.

  • Soulblade

 ▶ Added equipment exclusively for Dan-Ah.

  • Phoenix Soul Set
  • Grand Soul Set

 ▶ Added Mole Tattoo exclusively for Dan-Ah.

  • Dan-Ah's Mole

> Sent upon creating Dan-Ah. Its location, size, or color cannot be changed.

 ▶ Added exclusive equipment for Dan-Ah in Expertise.

  • Soulblade, the exclusive weapon for Dan-Ah, can be crafted using the Goldsmithing Expertise.
  • The Grand Soul Set, the exclusive armor for Dan-Ah, can be crafted using the Armorsmithing Expertise.
  • The Phoenix Soul Set, the exclusive armor for Dan-Ah, can be crafted using the Tailoring Expertise.

 

[Character Creation & Prologue]

▶ Added the introduction and skill preview videos upon selecting Character Creation > Dan-Ah.

▶ Added Dan-Ah's character background story.

 

[Partholon Vanguard]

▶ Added Vanguard Missions that require specialties of Dan-Ah's.

 

[Friendship System]

▶ Added Dan-Ah and the below features related to her:

  • She will appear in the mercenary lounge.
  • You can talk and depart for missions with her.
  • Friendship achievements related to her have been added.
  • You can have chance encounters with her in Colhen.

 ▶ The Acquaintance, Ally, Close Ally ranks for Dan-Ah have been implemented.

  • You can earn the "Close Ally" rank with Dan-Ah.
  • Dialogue related to your bond with Dan-Ah has been added.
  • Upon reaching higher bond ranks, Dan-Ah will become less fatigued and her Power Stance duration will last longer.
  • Achievements for each bond rank have also been implemented.
  • Learn more about Dan-Ah through her new Acquaintance, Ally, and Close Ally rank events!

 

[Voice Emotes]

▶ Added 50 voice emotes for Dan-Ah.

  • You can preview voice emotes for Dan-Ah under the Emote window's Emotes tab.
  • Voice emotes can be purchased with Friendship Seals from the Friendship Seal Shop.

 ▶ Added special voiced conversations between Dan-Ah and allies.

  • Dan-Ah will have unique voiced lines with other characters depending on who else is in the party with her.
  • These lines play while waiting to depart for battle as another character joins her.

 

[Main Screen]

▶ Added 1 basic character slot.

▶ Dan-Ah, the 19th hero, will appear in the game start screen.

Battle Specialty III

Boosts comrade ADD DMG and Action SPD in the Ortel Castle in Red battle.

Battle Region Specialty IX

Boosts comrade ATT, CRIT RTE, and ADD DMG in the Taratha Royal Castle region.

 

▶ You can choose the outfits for Comrade: Regina among the basic, Angelic Elf, and Elven Ranger outfits using Change Outfit for each part.

▶ Notes:

  • Once a comrade is bound to a character, they can't be shared with other characters with the same account.
  • However characters with two or more comrades with [Eternal Contract] can share them with other characters on the same account.

 

3. Tessa Friendship Update

▶ The Confidant bonding event for Tessa has been implemented.

  • You can earn the "Confidant" rank with Tessa.
  • Dialogue related to your bond with Tessa has been added.
  • Upon earning rank Confidant, Tessa will become less fatigued and her Power Stance duration will last longer.
  • Rank Confidant achievements have also been implemented.
  • Learn more about Tessa through her new rank Close Ally event! 

 

4. Adjustment to Rewards Earned Based on Abyssal Arena/Redeemers Damage Contribution Penalty, as Well as Redeemers Progress

 Developer's Notes

The situation where players obtain the reward stats based on Redeemers battle progress that wasn't applied in NA/Europe has been addressed. Players will obtain CRIT RTE +4 upon completing 5% of a Redeemers battle, and a minimum damage contribution for Redeemers battle and Abyssal Arena has been set. Since some time will be required to get used to Redeemers battles if a player has the Rookie Redeemers effect activated, we made it so that there will be no penalties for Rookie Redeemers in consideration of their potentially low damage contribution. We apologize for not applying the changes more quickly, as there was a need to consolidate and review the overall minimum amount of play to obtain a play reward, considering that each player has their own unique style and environment.

 

▶ The minimum damage contribution penalty for Abyssal Arena has been changed.

  • A contribution penalty will be applied if the total damage dealt to the boss monster is under 3% before obtaining the final reward.
  • The reward will be the same as the previous raid's and normal battle's penalty rewards when the contribution penalty is applied.

> Obtain Core x1, 20% Gold, 20% EXP, and 1 AP.

 

▶ When the of Abyssal Arena reward is obtained has been changed to when the battle is complete.

  • Previously, rewards were provided immediately for each floor, but this has been changed to be provided at the end of the battle.

> Gold, AP, EXP, Path Transformation Points, etc fall under this category.

  • If you leave or run out of time in the middle of battle, a penalty may be applied based on the total damage contribution up until the current floor.

 

▶ A minimum damage contribution penalty has been added to Redeemers battles.

  • A 2% minimum damage contribution condition has been applied.
  • The following penalty will be applied if damage contribution is less than 2%.

> The target player will be counted as failing the battle, will not have their departure count decreased, and will not receive any rewards.

> The battle can be completed without the penalty above when the Rookie Redeemer effect is applied.

 

▶ The reward stat order based on Redeemers progress has been changed as follows.

5. Miscellaneous Changes

▶ The issue where Darkness Wings would be smaller than before upon equipping them after maintenance on 11/09 (Tues) is scheduled to be fixed.

▶ Starting from January 1st 2022, [Redeemers: Tree of Life] will be added to the Redeemers Departure Strike Ticket, which can be obtained from the Reverent Tower 30F Choice Box as mentioned in the advance notice on 11/27 (Tues)

 

■ Items

▶ Fixed the issue that prevented right-clicking Appearance Alteration Coupon type items wouldn't take players to the Avatar Shop.

▶ Fixed the issue where certain player movements would appear awkward while using Claire's Bean Bag.

  • The player resting animation on the bean bag is longer than before.
