1. Character Utility Improvements

Fiona - Common

  • Improved the appearance of the character's face.

 

  • Due to the makeup improvements, you will no longer be able to use the makeup you had previously equipped.
    • You will be able to craft a "Fiona Makeup Coupon" via Quick Crafting by right-clicking on the item.
  • The eyebrow improvements may slightly change the type and shape of your existing eyebrows.
    • Players who wish to change them will be able to earn a "Premium Appearance Alteration Coupon" in the upcoming event.
  • With the addition of the new hair, mole, and scar, players who had Fiona before the appearance improvement update will receive a "Fiona Appearance Revamp Celebration Reward" in the mail.
    • The contents of the reward are as follows.

  • Added the new status effect "Retribution" to the "Active: Taunt" skill.
    • While the status effect "Retribution" is active, you gain 1 stage for each successful "Shield Deflection."
    • The status effect "Retribution" increases your final damage by 3% per stage, up to a maximum of 5 stages (final damage increased by 15%).
    • The status effect "Retribution" lasts for the duration of the "Taunt" effect, and disappears when the status effect "Taunt" ends.
  • Modified the effect duration for "Active: Taunt" to be as follows.

  • Added an effect where hitting an enemy with "Stigma Hammer" while equipped with a Large Shield will increase the duration of the status effect "Taunt" by 5 seconds.
    • The duration can be increased up to four times (for a total increase of 20 seconds).
  • Changed the "Active: Taunt" skill usage condition from "Available in normal raids" to "Available in all battles."

 

  • Hitting an enemy with "Active: Taunt" triggers the status effect "Taunt" and instantly grants you 1 stage of the status effect "Retribution."
    • Added remaining duration to the status effect "Retribution" UI.
    • While the status effect "Taunt" is active, hitting an enemy with Stigma Hammer while equipped with a Large Shield restores 100 SP.
  • Hitting an enemy with "Stigma Hammer" while equipped with a Large Shield will increase the duration of the status effect "Taunt" and the status effect "Retribution" by 5 seconds each.
    • The duration of the status effect "Retribution" can also be increased up to four times (for a total increase of 20 seconds).
  • Adjusted the tooltip description for the "Active: Taunt" skill to match the changes above.
  • Added new attack skill "Active: Taunt Strike."
    • This skill is a leap into the air followed by a slam into the ground, hitting enemies and attracting their attention for a short time.
    • "Active: Taunt Strike" also grants the "Taunt" effect when used, but the duration does not change with skill rank and is fixed at 5 seconds.
    • In this state, you cannot gain the "Retribution" status effect from a successful "Shield Deflection."
    • While the "Taunt" status effect gained from using the 'Active: Taunt' skill is active, using "Active: Taunt Strike" does not remove or renew the existing "Taunt" effect.
  • Changed the Smash enhancement effect that is applied on a successful "Active: Shield Deflection" to not apply to "Active: Shield Bash."
  • Changed "Active: Shield Deflection" so that even if you fail to deflect, you can still chain into a normal attack, smash attack, or active skill after 60 frames.
  • Adjusted "Active: Shield Enhancement" and "Active: Tireless" SP consumption from 250 to 100 SP.
  • Changed "Heavy Stander Counter" so that it can chain after the third hit of a normal attack after a successful attack.
  • "Shield Mastery Rank 9" and "Large Shield Mastery" can now be learned without completing the Story "Skill Challenge: Shield Mastery."
  • Fixed "Active: Iron Defense" so that it no longer consumes SP when used.
  • Changed the skill so that it cannot have "Waking Stone: Efficient SP" applied, as the skill's SP consumption has been removed.
    • If the skill currently has the "Efficient SP" Waking Stone applied, the applied Waking Stone will be changed to Efficient SP (30) and the "awakening failure" state.
    • It will be changed to an "awakening failure" state to prevent the skill's max awakening info from being removed if the skill's Waking Stone info is also removed.
    • Also changed the lowest rank's Efficient SP (30) so that there is no limit for applicable ranks if you switch to a different Skill Awakening Stone in the future.
    • Based on the changes above, the following rewards will be distributed via mail to players who meet the distribution criteria below.

  • Changed "Honeybee Sting" and "Rose Thorns" (0-hit smash) to not apply the "Shield Deflection" status effect when used without charging.
    • Using "Honeybee Sting" and "Rose Thorns" after charging will continue to apply the "Shield Deflection" status effect as before.
  • Modified the "Active: Shield Charge" skill to have critical applied.

 

  • Revised tooltip descriptions so that skills can align with the character utility improvements.

 

Fiona - Longsword

  • Modified the additional attack frame length for "Amaranth Kick" from 160 frames to 100 frames.
  • Modified the additional attack of "Amaranth Kick" so that the start of the attack hitbox is now at 23 frames instead of 29 frames.
  • Modified the additional attack of "Amaranth Kick" to consume 6 STA instead of 17 STA at max rank.
  • Changed the "50 SP recovery effect" to "50 STA recovery effect" when "Amaranth Kick" additional attack hits.
  • Modified the point at which an "Amaranth Kick" additional attack can be chained to a guard action from "after 54 frames" to "after 40 frames."
  • Modified the point at which an "Amaranth Kick" additional attack can be chained to "Active: Shield Dash," activated by using the kick button, from "after 55 frames" to "after 41 frames."
  • Increased the damage of "Ivy Sweep" by 7%.
  • "Ivy Sweep" recovers 25 SP and 25 STA on successful hits.

 

  • Increased the damage of counterattacks used after "Active: Shield Enhancement" by 6%.
  • Increased the damage of "Active: Focal Point" by 5%.

 

Vella

  • Modified the duration of Cross Stance from "72 frames" to "42 frames" at max rank.

4. Mileage System

  • Added the Mileage Shop.
    • For more information, including mileage accumulation criteria and exchangeable products, please check the following event page. [Go to Event Page]

 

  • Added a component to the "Supply Depot" UI where you can check how much Mileage you have.
  • Added the "Mileage Accumulation Icon" to products that are available for sale in the "Supply Depot" and "Wardrobe" that are eligible for Mileage accumulation.
  • Added Mileage accumulation information to the bottom of the "Supply Depot" and "Wardrobe" purchase/payment windows.
    • Added Mileage accumulation information to various UIs where products able to accumulate Mileage can be purchased.

 

  • NX prices for items available from the supply depot will be changed.
    • Items with prices that cause decimal points when transfered to Mileage(under tens digit) will be rounded down.
    • Temporal items available for purchase from the wardrobe are not subject to this change, and Mileage accumulation of these items will still be rounded down.

 


5. Other Changes

Expertise

  • Added a text input method to the "Confirm Crafting" pop-up that appears when using enchanted equipment as a crafting material without using an Extraction Rune to prevent mistakes.
    • Added the same text input method for both crafting and crafting requests.

 

Items

  • Modified the "Comrade Destiny Box" item tooltip as shown below.
    • (Previous) An airtight box full of happy helpers. Right-click to claim one of the comrades below.
    • (Changed) A box full of happy helpers. Right-click to claim one of the comrades below.
  • Removed [NX Reward] from the names of the "Outfit Destiny Box" and "Wings" items earned from previous NX Reward Events and replaced them with [Mileage].

 

Battle

  • Fixed an issue where "Lucian's" name is incorrectly displayed when the "Alt" key is pressed during the cutscene at the start of the "Unjust Cathedral" battle.
  • Fixed an issue where the wings on "Macha's" back appear abnormally in the cutscene that plays at the start of the "Red Stigma" battle.
  • Fixed an issue where "Comrade: Jordra" would intermittently disappear during combat.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the status effect UI to be intermittently blank during combat.

 

  • During the Royal Army Battle "Frosted Omen," the following attacks used by "Ancient Stribog" will now have 50% less movement distance and slightly longer cooldowns than before.
    • "Ancient Stribog" pattern where it jumps backwards, lands, and attacks
    • "Ancient Stribog" pattern where it lunges forward and attacks once
    • "Ancient Stribog" pattern where it lunges forward and attacks twice consecutively
    • "Ancient Stribog" pattern where it attacks with an upward thrust, followed by a downward thrust

 

  • During the Royal Army Battle "Frosted Omen," the following attacks used by "Ancient Stribog" will now have cooldowns twice as long as before.
    • "Ancient Stribog" pattern where it roars and deals damage to the area around it
    • "Ancient Stribog" pattern where it breathes out in front of it and attacks

 

Redeemers

  • Changed the condition to earn [Full Force] from the battles "Sea of Reflection," "Dark Side of the Moon," "Tempering the Sword" and "Tree of Life" from completing the battles 30 times to 5 times.
    • If a character has completed 5 or more battles previously, then they can immediately use Full Force.
  • Changing the number of battles that need to be completed to earn Redeemers Seals and Mission Seals from 30 to 5.
  • Redeemers-related changes will be added to the play guide's "Guide Missions" descriptions and Help descriptions.

 

Story

  • Fixed an issue where the "Artisan's Stone" could not be obtained in the "Unjust Cathedral" battle during the "High Expertise Artisan" story.
  • Fixed an issue where some characters using "Jumping Potion" were unable to obtain the "High Expertise Artisan" story.

 


4. Misc.

  • Fixed an issue where the graphics on the cape part appeared broken when a character was moving while wearing the "Special Nordic Prime Set."
  • Fixed an issue where the graphics appeared broken when Lynn's "Pointy Twin Tails" and the "Noblesse Helm" were equipped together.
  • Fixed an issue where the graphics on the arms appeared broken when striking certain poses after equipping the "Special Mystic Mage Set."
  • Fixed an issue where the graphics on the boots appeared broken when the "Special Nordic Prime Greaves" and "Special Nordic Prime Boots" were equipped together on certain characters.
  • Fixed an issue where the head part appeared hollow when equipping the "Special Nordic Prime Helm" on certain characters.
  • Fixed an issue with Grimden's "Bandage Inner Armor" outfit icon displayed the wrong colors.
  • Fixed an issue with Grimden's "Bandage Inner Armor" outfit tooltip not displaying RGB information.
  • Fixed an issue where Achel's "Beach Party Inner Armor" outfit had a different color than other male characters.
  • Fixed an issue where mouse scrolling did not work on the character selection screen when "Options → Video → Advanced → UI Size" was set to 120%.
  • Fixed an issue where dyeing Fusion Eriu Auxiliary Equipment would not reflect the color correctly.
  • Fixed an issue where Evie's head being adjusted to be slightly smaller caused her to look awkward in certain situations.
  • Fixed an issue where when "Arisha" smiles, the shape of her mouth looked awkward.
  • Fixed an issue where the ends of "Tessa's" hair looked awkward when equipping the "Cygne Rouge" hair.
  • Fixed an issue where toggling "Hide Other Players' Mini-Windows" in "Options → Video → Advanced → Hide Mini" would reset the setting in certain situations.
